WHAT WE DO

  • Provide Expert Opinions

With their background in nursing, LCNs are able to offer informed opinions on complex medical issues, helping attorneys understand intricate concepts and implications for their cases.

  • Review Medical Records

LNCs meticulously evaluate medical records to determine whether they comply with accepted standards of care. This involves identifying any deviations from expected medical practices or potential negligence.

  • Analyze Medical Evidence

LNCs analyze various forms of medical evidence, such as diagnostic tests and treatment protocols, to ascertain the relevance and reliability of information in the context of the legal case.

  • Case Preparation Support

They assist legal teams in case preparation by organizing medical information, summarizing key medical issues, and providing frameworks for presenting medical evidence effectively.

  • Expert Witness Services

Many LNCs serve as expert witnesses in court, drawing upon their clinical experience and knowledge to testify about medical standards, practices, and the implications of specific medical actions or omissions.

  • Educate Legal Professionals

LNCs often provide education to attorneys about medical terminology, procedures, and the healthcare system, helping them communicate more effectively with medical professionals and the court.
